Details:

  • The tournament will comply with all USFA and RYC rules and regulations, the following details may be changed if necessary to comply.
  • The times listed for each event are the close of registration. Fencers arriving after that time may not be allowed to enter. The bout committee has sole discretion to allow late entries, and in all cases an additional late registration fee will be charged.
  • Events with at least 6 boys and at least 6 girls will be fenced separately. Events with fewer of either gender will be fenced mixed.
  • The format is a round of pools, 6 or 7 fencers in each pool when possible, followed by DEs. Either 100% or 80% will advance to DEs depending on total size of each event and at the bout committee's determination.
  • Youth-10 and Youth-12 Direct Elimination bouts are best of 3 five touch bouts. Youth-14 and Cadet Direct Elimination bouts are fifteen touch bouts.
  • Fencers in Youth-10 events must use #2 or #0 blades. (Full length adult blades are not allowed.)
  • All events are fenced electric with the latest USFA adopted timings, and each fencer must have at least two working body cords and weapons with them at the strip.
  • Fencers must have all protective gear to compete. Knickers are required; sweatpants, jeans, and shorts are not permitted.
  • All participants must be current members of the USFA with valid membership card present at check in. Participants without proof of membership will be required to fill out a new USFA membership application including payment by check or credit card.
