The Virginia Divsion of the United States Fencing Association is trying to organize High School fencing in the state.

We feel fencing is an ideal sport for high and middle school age students to take up, for a variety of reasons. We need an organized presentation of these reasons in this document.

Right now there is limited fencing at any high or middle school anywhere in the state. In order to develop more programs, an organized league of schools who meet each other to compete is the first step.

Schools with Programs

This is a list of schools where fencing practice is taking place on school grounds.

Schools with Fencers but no Program

This is a list of schools with fencers but no practice at the school.

Schools with Interest but no Fencers or Program

This is a lit of schools with interested students, but no practice and no experienced fencer.

If you participate in fencing practice at a high or middle school, please send me email with the name of the school, the county and/or city where it is, and the name and email address of the instructor.

If you are a fencer in high or middle school and are interested in having a program at your school, send me email with the same information as above (except the instructor part).
